Because they look so classy, cool and poised while they’re doing it.
Especially in black-and-white movies!

  1. Eriz hindi ko makita ang picture. Hahaha.

Teka, 2011 ka babalik sabi mo saken non diba? Naalala ko lang kase medyo malapit na. Mag ipon ka na!

    • What? You can’t see the picture?! Too bad, smoking does really look good in the movies, not that I’m tempted though :P.

We’ll see, we’ll see what happens. We never know yet. Somehow, I don’t get to save that much but at least it never goes under 1000 dollars. For now…

Why? What did you have planned for 2011? πŸ˜€ Hehehe.

  2. have you seen the movie “Rebel With a Cause?” Bongga ang cigarette moments in James Dean dun. Ampogi pa niya. Hihi.

    • It’s Rebel Without a Cause :P. I’m just going to pretend that you said the title properly haha. I usually nag and go upset when it comes to little stuff like this. But for you, I’ll just ignore it haha.

He IS hot but unfortunately I’m not a fan of his performances. I’ve seen all three of his films and didn’t like any of them. He acts like he’s always drunk >_>.

But yeah, smoking looks effing awesome in celluloid.

But did you notice the homoeroticism in Rebel Without a Cause at all? πŸ˜€ But of course, the gay guy is killed in the end.

      • OMFG! *shrinking* .. sorry. i was thinking of another film na rebel with a cause tlaga ung title while typing that comment.. tsk tsk. my bad.

      • *throws tomatoes at you* “Don’t ever do something like that again in my presence!” Hahahaha XD.

Never heard of a film with that title. A local film, perhaps? πŸ˜€

      • a british animation.. a recent short film. haha. sireeee dude..

  3. GUsto ko rin ung movie na “The Hours” adapted from the book of Michael Cunningham featuring the ever infamous cigarette smoking writer Virginia Woolf πŸ™‚

    • The Hours is one of my favorite films of the year 2002. πŸ˜€ Julianne Moore’s attempt at suicide made me cry like a baby!!!

I still need to get around to finishing at least one Virginia Woolf novel. Boo me.

      • I prefer Virginia Woolf’s art criticism than her novels. But Orlando is one great novel I’d recommend.

      • Yes, I’ve been meaning to read that for a long time but never get to it. But will do this time.

I did watch the film though. It’s pretty good; I think you’ll like it if you’re into artsy and slow-paced stuff.

Tilda Swinton is an androgynous goddesss. πŸ˜€

  4. I agree with the title. Ü
Though, I really love Anne Curtis everytime I her smoking on screen. Hehehehe.
